Application Instructions 

• Applications open September 24th and are due on October 4th at 11:59PM PST.

  • Send your application to: longshipmentorship@gmail.com.

  • Please label the file 'firstname.lastname'.

• Include all of this in one PDF, in the following order:

  • 1. Resume

    2. Statement: One paragraph stating why you would be a good fit for the club and detailing your interest in the Capital Markets.

    3. Transcripts: University transcripts, or high school transcripts for those in first year.

Interview Process

• If selected, there will be an interview as part of the hiring process.

  • Applicants should focus on having clear motivations for pursuing a career in the Capital Markets.

• The best way to study for these interviews is to:

  • Understand the main careers under the Capital Markets umbrella (good resource). 

  • Demonstrate that your personality is suited towards these careers.

• Please be prepared to answer the following questions:

  • 1. Why are you interested in Longship Investment Club?

    2. What is your understanding of Capital Markets careers (investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, etc.)?

    3. What’s happening in the markets?

    4. What is a business that you find interesting, and why do you find it interesting?
